Lorrie has been married to Dr. Carpenter since 2003. Once married, they decided that they also wanted to work side by side. Having worked in various business offices and fields throughout her management career gave her a wide variety of experience to draw from and enhanced her ability to help Dr. Carpenter with the operational management of CFMA.
Lorrie’s role at CFMA is as Manager; however, the business of healthcare is ever changing and requires the whole TEAM approach. Surrounded by top notch employees Dr. Carpenter and Lorrie are working diligently and encouraging forward movement in all aspects of Clinic Operations. She credits the staff at CFMA for their ownership and dedication to their individual roles and their willingness and ability to function as that TEAM.
Together, Dr. Carpenter and Lorrie have 4 adult children and are looking forward to someday having grandchildren to spoil. They live and work in Choctaw and attend the Choctaw church of Christ. Lorrie loves traveling, water-sports, camping, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

She likes to read and has even been known to play darts and ride motorcycles. She has 3 children who were also raised in Choctaw and attended Choctaw schools. She and her husband Shawn were high-school sweethearts and are still happily married.
Jana comes to us with a background in the healthcare industry as a lab processing technician, phlebotomist, and an EMT. Along with her P.A. training we believe she is ready to be part of our CFMA family.
"During my clinical rotations as a P.A. student, I have found that I truly love working in a family practice environment. The combination of continuity of care and the unique opportunity to become an important part of a patient's long-term health are what I believe to be the foundation of good medicine." - Jana Scripp, PA-C
